The Bagri Foundation

The Bagri Foundation is a philanthropic private family foundation established in 1990 in London, UK. The Foundation’s mission is to promote the arts and cultures of Asia through the provision of grants.

It affords artists and experts from across the continent wider visibility and access to a global platform. In addition, the Bagri Foundation supports education and relief projects in South Asia and the UK.^[1][2]

History

The Bagri Foundation was established in 1990 as a family registered charity by Lord Raj Kumar Bagri and Lady Usha Bagri.

From its inception, the Foundation’s primary purpose was to provide educational support through scholarships to South Asian students and actively worked on health relief (cancer care and mental health) and anti-human trafficking.^[3]
